A treat for the English Sparkling wine enthusiast. Three bottles from a small vineyard in the Sussex Weald at Horam all presented in a traditional wicker hamper. Hidden Spring is a relative newcomer to the Sparkling Wine sector and has produced absolutely delicious wines chosen specially for you.
The Classic Cuvee is made from the juice of the first pressing of the grapes, and won the Wine GB Silver award for the 2019 vintage. ‘An explosion of lemon & line, a hint of apple Danish and aromas of raspberry’ say the tasting notes.
The Blanc de Blanc 2017 is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and is matured for 56 months on the lees. ‘An intense nectarine and citrus nose introduces the fresh fruity notes of the citrus, white peaches and pineapple harmoniously intertwined with shortbread and pastry’ say the tasting notes.
The Blanc de Noirs 2018 is a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grape juice that creates a wine with persistent fine bubbles. ‘A rich nose of frangipane, bursting with red fruit and juicy ripe apple and a hint of black cherry and a long finish’ say the tasting notes.
